1. Information we process

Rushlings does not ask for your name, contact details, or account information, and can be played straight away without signing in. Gameplay and the results it produces are handled on your device. The paid App Store and Google Play editions (version 1.1.0 and later) have no sign-in, no ads, no in-app purchases, and no server sync, and send no personal information off your device. In earlier App Store versions (before 1.1.0), if you chose to connect an Apple account in Settings, we took the stable user identifier Apple issues, processed it with HMAC on our server, and from that point stored your progress there. We do not ask for or store your name or email address. Earlier free versions also show ads, as described below.

Apple account identifier (HMAC, earlier versions)Used in App Store versions before 1.1.0 to carry your progress across devices when you chose to connect an Apple account. We do not receive your name or email address. The paid editions do not use it.
Session information (earlier versions)Used to keep the server session of an Apple account connected in an earlier version, and to handle deletion requests for accounts that remain.
Game progress (earlier versions)For users who connected an Apple account in an earlier App Store version, we keep the level progress, best records, coins, upgrades, heart refill state, and daily check-in records already synced. The paid editions send nothing to our server.

2. Information stored on your device

Your level progress, best records, daily check-in records, coins, permanent upgrades, settings, and recent play state are stored in the app's storage on your device. In the paid App Store and Google Play editions (version 1.1.0 and later) these records exist only on this device. We hold no copy, so they cannot be recovered if you delete the app or move to another device. Earlier free versions also store hearts and their refill time. If you connected an Apple account in an earlier App Store version, a copy of your progress is also stored on our server; to delete an earlier-version account and its server data, email support@sleite.com.

3. Data transfers and device permissions

The paid App Store and Google Play editions do not communicate with our server or with any advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting service. If you tap the Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, or Contact links in Settings, your device's browser or mail app opens and that app's policies apply from there. In earlier App Store versions, your progress was stored on our server only after you connected an Apple account; the Apple refresh token used for the connection is stored encrypted on our server. We do not use a separate analytics SDK or crash-reporting SDK; the advertising information handled by earlier free versions is covered in the advertising section below.

We do not ask for permission to reach sensitive information such as your contacts, location, photos, camera, or microphone. On devices that support it, the app can use vibration to give you touch feedback during play; nothing personal is read or sent to do this.

4. Platform notes

App StoreRushlings runs as an iOS app. Information Apple processes while distributing, updating, backing up, and securing the app is governed by Apple's own policies.
Google PlayRushlings runs as an Android app. Information Google processes while distributing, updating, backing up, and securing the app is governed by Google's own policies.

5. Advertising

The paid App Store and Google Play editions (version 1.1.0 and later) show no ads and contain no advertising SDK. Earlier free versions (the free Google Play app and App Store versions before 1.1.0) show rewarded and interstitial ads through Google Mobile Ads. In those versions, to serve ads, control how often they appear, measure their performance, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse, an approximate location estimated from your IP address, device and app environment information, device identifiers, ad request, impression, and interaction data, and crash, diagnostic, and performance information may be processed by Google and its advertising partners. Device identifiers among these may be used for tracking for third-party advertising and analytics. Where it is required, Google's privacy options screen is available in those versions. Their own code does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission and does not read the advertising identifier, but other device identifiers may still be processed by Google Mobile Ads according to that SDK and the consent choices you make.

6. In-app purchases

The paid App Store and Google Play editions are bought from the store and sell nothing inside the app. Apple or Google handles that payment under its own policies, and the app does not see your payment details. In earlier free versions, the Unlimited Pass is bought through the payment system of the store you installed the app from; your payment details and purchase history are handled under that store's policies, and the app only checks whether the purchase exists so it can apply or restore it.

7. How long we keep information

Apple account identifier (HMAC) and synced progress from earlier versionsUntil you stop using the service and ask us to delete it
Payment records5 years (Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce)
Records of consumer complaints and disputes3 years (same Act)
Access logs3 months (Korean Protection of Communications Secrets Act)

We are a business registered in the Republic of Korea, so Korean law sets these retention periods. Information that a law requires us to keep is stored separately for that period and then deleted beyond recovery.

8. Sharing and processors

We share personal information with a third party only with your consent or where the law provides a basis. If an investigative authority makes a lawful request under Korean law, we may provide information within the scope of that request.

9. Your rights and deletion

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information, or to stop us processing it. Send your request to the contact address below and we will act on it and reply within 10 days.

The paid editions have no account, and deleting the app also deletes its on-device record. The app no longer has an in-app account deletion screen, so to delete an earlier-version account and its server data, email support@sleite.com. For an Apple account, we ask Apple to revoke the token and then delete the account and the progress on our server; the record on your device is not affected. Information that a law requires us to keep is stored separately for that period and then deleted.

10. Security measures

Traffic to our server is protected with HTTPS. Database credentials and signing keys are kept only in the server's secret store, never in source code. Access to information is limited to the minimum needed to operate the service.

11. Where your information is processed

The advertising and platform providers named in this policy operate in multiple countries. When ads are served, the ad-related information described above is processed by Google LLC in the United States and in other countries where Google operates. Information processed by Apple or Google for app distribution and payment is handled under their own policies.

Our own server, which stores the records described above, is hosted by Amazon Web Services in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

Where the law of your country requires notice, consent, or safeguards for this kind of cross-border processing, we follow it.

12. For users in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland

Where the GDPR or equivalent law applies, we process personal information on these legal bases: your consent (for ad-related storage or identifiers where consent is required — Google's privacy options screen collects it); performance of a contract (providing the Service you request); our legitimate interests (keeping the Service secure, preventing fraud and abuse, and keeping it stable); and compliance with a legal obligation.

In addition to the rights above, you can ask us to restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and receive a copy of information you provided in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority of your country.

13. For users in Japan

Where the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) applies, we use personal information within the purposes stated in this policy. You can ask us to disclose, correct, stop using, or delete the personal information we hold about you through the contact below. Where personal information is provided to a third party or handled outside Japan, we follow the notice, consent, and safeguard requirements of the APPI.

14. Contact

Send questions about how we handle personal information, and any request to exercise your rights, to support@sleite.com.

15. Changes to this policy

If what we process changes, we revise this policy and show its effective date before releasing that update. We give notice from 7 days before the date it applies, and from 30 days before for an important change that is unfavourable to you.
