1. Information we process

Match Layers does not ask for your name, contact details, or account information, and you can play straight away without signing in. Game progress and results are processed on your device. The paid Google Play edition has no ads, no in-app purchases, no sign-in, and no server communication, and sends no personal information off your device. In earlier free versions (the free Google Play app and the App Store app), the information described below may be processed in the advertising provider's systems when ads are served.

2. Information stored on your device

Your stage progress, time-attack best records, and music, sound-effect, and vibration settings (earlier free versions also keep ad pacing state and the Remove Ads entitlement state) are stored in the app's storage on your device. In the paid Google Play edition these records remain only on your device and are not backed up to our server, so they are lost if you delete the app, clear its data, or change device, and we cannot restore them.

4. Advertising

The paid Google Play edition shows no ads and contains no advertising SDK. Earlier free versions (the free Google Play app and the App Store app) use a bottom banner and paced interstitial ads from Google Mobile Ads, and play rewarded ads only when you choose a hint, shuffle, undo, or time-attack continue. In those versions, to serve ads, control frequency, measure performance, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse, Google and its advertising partners may process approximate location inferred from an IP address, device and app environment information, device identifiers, ad request, impression and interaction data, and crash, diagnostic and performance information. Device identifiers may be used for tracking for third-party advertising and analytics. Where required, Google's privacy options screen is available in those versions. The iOS app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission or directly read the IDFA, but Google Mobile Ads may process other device identifiers according to the SDK and the user's consent choices.

5. In-app purchases

The paid Google Play edition is bought from the store and sells nothing inside the app. Google handles that payment under its own policies, and the app does not see your payment details. In earlier free versions, Remove Ads is bought through the payment system of the store you installed the app from; your payment details are handled under that store's policies, and the app checks the purchase history of the same store account to remove the bottom banner and automatic interstitial ads.

6. Your rights and deletion

You can remove the information held on your device by deleting the app or clearing its app data. Deleted app data cannot be recovered.

7. Where your information is processed

The advertising and platform providers named in this policy operate in multiple countries. When ads are served, the ad-related information described above is processed by Google LLC in the United States and in other countries where Google operates. Information processed by Apple or Google for app distribution and payment is handled under their own policies.

Where the law of your country requires notice, consent, or safeguards for this kind of cross-border processing, we follow it.

8. For users in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland

Where the GDPR or equivalent law applies, we process personal information on these legal bases: your consent (for ad-related storage or identifiers where consent is required — Google's privacy options screen collects it); performance of a contract (providing the Service you request); our legitimate interests (keeping the Service secure, preventing fraud and abuse, and keeping it stable); and compliance with a legal obligation.

In addition to the rights above, you can ask us to restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and receive a copy of information you provided in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.

You can also lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority of your country.

9. For users in Japan

Where the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) applies, we use personal information within the purposes stated in this policy. You can ask us to disclose, correct, stop using, or delete the personal information we hold about you through the contact below. Where personal information is provided to a third party or handled outside Japan, we follow the notice, consent, and safeguard requirements of the APPI.

10. Contact

Send questions about how we handle personal information, and any request to exercise your rights, to support@sleite.com.

11. Changes to this policy

If what we process changes, we revise this policy and show its effective date before releasing that update. We give notice from 7 days before the date it applies, and from 30 days before for an important change that is unfavourable to you.
